Digital Photography and Imaging: Project 1

 This was a very interesting start to my tasks for this semester and this module as a whole.

 I was very excited to know that we would be doing both a physical collage and a digital collage for our work and I was very eager to get started on it.

I used this because I believed that this composition is the most pleasing to the eye, as it uses a sense of overlapping with the right end of the knife's blade partially overlapping the bowl of fruit.


Digital Compositions:

These were a very interesting challenge for me as we were only allowed to only use a certain set of images for our work.

Final Digital Collage:

I started out with this composition as it was simple yet the items in this photo complemented each other well, the fish matching the blue building, while the white building matched the white background. I utilized the tools such as brightness and contrast, levels, colour balance, etc. to create a slightly more saturated version of my previous piece.
