MyTiger Poster

We were tasked to create a poster for the MyTiger competition that was created by Maybank Malaysia. And I decided what kind of poster I was thinking of using these as my references for said poster.

 

And these were the sketches I used to start out with my poster.



I then got feedback on additions on what to make for my poster, one addition such as instead of a building being the focal point, replace it with a food truck /cart would prove better to send the message with more impact.


With the creation of the food truck I decided to get to work on the poster.

I added the food truck on a blank canvas as a start and position it in the middle of the canvas.

 

 

I added a gradient for the ground to start on the synthwave look of this piece.

 

 

I then added the buildings, to overshadow the food cart much like skyscrapers would with other smaller buildings.

 

 

I then proceeded to add a gradient sky, some more buildings with window lights on them and change the floor gradient to not meld with the sky and the buildings. And I even added a grid on the ground to hone in on that synthwave look.

I reflected the sky and buildings off the ground to give it a smooth look to it. And then finally once I added the reflection of the food cart and added text, I have finished my final poster.
